Communications
Information Window
Download Adobe Acrobat Reader

You have clicked the icon to take you to Adobe's Acrobat download site.  If Acrobat is not installed as a plug-in for your web browser (you'll know it isn't because you will not be able to view any of the PDF files), you need to download and install it. To do so, follow the instructions below.

However, if you already have the plug-in installed, close this window now to return to the Communications site. (In case its difficult to tell, this is a second window, separate from the class site's.)

To download the Acrobat plug-in, click on its icon below.  The download site for it will appear in this window.  Follow the instructions you find there to download it.  Once the download is complete, exit from your browser and install the plug-in.  (You'll probably need to note the location on your hard drive where you saved the download so that you can find and install it.)  After you've finished the installation, restart your browser, return to the Communications web site, and open the item that requires the plug-in. Once you have installed the plug-in you will not need to download it again. (Unless an upgrade becomes available; but that's another story.)
